We are please to announce that we are once again listed on the G-Cloud framework. We have revised our services to further compliment the project delivery phases outlined in the Government Digital Services Manual. These services can be consumed individually or collectively depending on your specific requirements.


In this post we are going to look at our new Cloud Service Delivery. All our services and listings can be found directly on the Digital Marketplace.



Our Approach

We have designed our service offerings to align with the Government Agile Delivery project phases. Furthermore, we have adopted and work against the Service Standards and Technology Code of Practice to further complement our clients. At a high-level, our services include;

  • Cloud Strategy & Roadmap: Designed to help our clients identify their goal and aspirations by taking a holistic look at their organisation. The objective of which is to create a working, measurable and sustainable strategy that will support any organisation moving to and adopting cloud services.

  • Cloud Service Discovery: Discovery is about understanding the problem and/or aspirations in question. We then set to refine the problem by building a contextual understanding of the users, their frustrations and objectives. We look to understand the current working practices, constraints and business rules.

  • Cloud Service Design: Having identified a series of options based on the Discovery output, this is where we start to refine those options into potentially viable services. By refining these with users we uncover further considerations enabling these to be addressed early. Further, at this stage we take a holistic view of the service and catalogue all entry and end points.

  • Cloud Service Delivery: Taking the most refined option from Design we work at developing this service in the real instance. Depending on the service we may operate a small pilot here, this helps to ensure the accuracy and alignment to the users’ needs.

  • Cloud Service Support: Having transitioned the service into a live environment we can continue supporting the development of enhanced features and further aligning the service to expectations.


Cloud Service Delivery

Our Cloud Service Delivery has been designed specifically to help you translate your strategic initiatives into manageable deliverables. We take a holistic approach to ensure all the corresponding elements of your business are aligned to help you attain maximum benefit. By doing this we are able to help you effectively align your services and solutions to your customer expectations. Depending on your scope our Cloud Delivery service will deliver;

  • Comprehensive Planning – Helping you define a clear understanding of the key elements required to create comprehensive detailed planning artefacts and pulling these together to support us in delivering the vision. This will include the identification of your core systems, detailed technical requirements, key stakeholders and desired delivery methodology.

  • Detailed Business Cases – For each initiative it is likely you will need to create a separate business case which will identify the need for the change, sponsorship, associated risk, cost and benefits to name but a few elements. We can help you create these documents, link them to your detailed plan hierarchy and use them to initiate your benefits realisation plan and activities.

  • Complete Traceable Requirements Specifications – As with all our work we are completely flexible in our approach, we will adopt a methodology which will complement your deliverables and organisation. In any case we will deliver a structured rigorous approach to requirements gathering, all documentation will be completely traceable and used to form the basis of our testing activities. Additionally, this is a key opportunity to attain the support of key stakeholders throughout the business which will intern support the adoption and continued support for your change journey.

  • Structured Delivery Methodologies - We are fully versed in full lifecycle delivery using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Additionally, we have worked to the GDS delivery standards and design principals successfully for a number of years.

  • Partner/ Provider Relationship Development – A key consideration we have identified that supports the success of any initiative and organisations is the change in approach to partner/ provider management. Cloud technologies generally offer much wider flexibility than traditional solutions. To achieve the most benefit here you need to consider working alongside your ‘supplier’ and treating the relationship more as one of a partnership. We have helped a number of organisations develop positive two-way relationships which have supported future growth through collaboration, often realising considerable savings.

  • Delivery Governance – The key with all delivery governance is getting the right balance between speed, cost and appetite. You then need to balance this with the risk level to devise an appropriate comprehensive, but not restrictive, governance process. We have found a key consideration in this needs to be the delivery methodology. We have extensive experience of working with clients to ensure solutions are appropriately controlled yet not restricted.
