This website (www.crownconsultinggroup.co.uk) and any other mobile sites or sites that link to this policy will be known collectively as “the Sites”. The Sites are owned and managed by the Crown Consulting Group, a limited company registered in England and Wales – registration number 9924558 with the registered address at 85 Great Portland Street, London, W1W 7LT. The Crown Consulting Group for the purpose of this policy will be known as “we”, “our” and “us”.

The Crown Consulting Group is committed to protecting your personal data. For the purpose of this policy the meaning of personal information is intended to apply to the following;

Data Protection Principles

The Crown Consulting Group adheres to the following principles when processing your personal information:

This privacy policy does NOT extend to personal information that we might gather from you in the context of providing consultancy services or working with you as an independent consultant. These policies are detailed elsewhere and are available via those locations.

What type of information do we collect?

We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information and purchase history. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personal information (including name, email, password, and communications).

How do we collect the information

When you contact us via the contact form displayed on our ‘Contact Us’ page we gather personal information including Name, Email Address, and Telephone number. In this instance, your personal information will be used for the purpose of fulfilling your contact request.

When you contact us via the ‘Register Interest’ forms on any of our recruitment pages will gather personal information including;

  • Name;

  • Email Address;

  • Telephone Number;

  • Basic Employment Details;

  • Academic Record;

In these instances, your personal information is used as an initial stage to help us with our recruitment process. These basic details are used to help us assess your suitability for your desired role.

In all instances on our website where we collect and process personal information it is mandatory to select if you want to receive promotional (marketing) based materials. If you select yes at any time to this your details will be further processed into a separate email distribution list so we can provide you with the materials associated with this process.

Additionally, outside of the scope of marketing, we may use your personal information to contact you about your specific query or registration. These instances will form part of us providing you with the service you have requested and/or registered an interest in.

Why do we collect the information?

We collect such Non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:

  • To provide and operate the Services;

  • To provide our Users with ongoing customer assistance and technical support;

  • To be able to contact our Visitors and Users with general or personalized service-related notices and promotional messages;

  • To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred Non-personal Information, which we or our business partners may use to provide and improve our respective services; 

  • To comply with any applicable laws and regulations.

How do we store, use and share the personal information?

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases, and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. 

We use your personal information to help us provide you with a service. As detailed above, all our collection methods of personal information are via specific contact forms. We use the form concerned to determine your interest and us your personal information to provide you with this service.

For the purpose of this policy, there are no instances where we would share your personal information. If any instance occurred where we needed to share this, unless otherwise stated, we would consult with you before releasing this information.

How do we communicate with our site visitors?

We may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes, we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, and postal mail.

Your rights

Right to be Informed: This is about your right to know that we are collecting your personal information, how are doing it and for what reason/s. For the purpose of this we understand this policy is clear in setting out these parameters;

Right to Rectification: You have the right to rectify any information we may have about you that is incorrect. If you wish to exercise this right please contact us via the ‘Contact Us’ channels outlined above;

Right to Erasure: You have the right to request that any and all information we hold on you be deleted should you no longer wish us to hold it. There are specific instances where this may not be possible for reasons relating to a higher legal basis (tax, employment history etc) If you wish to explore and exercise this right please use on the channels outlined in the ‘Contact Us’ section of this policy;

Right to Data Portability: You have the right to request your personal data in a common readable and portable format, if you wish to exercise this right please contact us via the means outlined within this policy;

Right to Object: You have the right to object to any direct marketing we may perform. If you wish to do so please use the relevant options contained within the footer of any of our emails or contact us via a channel outlined within this policy.

Policy updates

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.
